Acquired Brain Injury Waivers I & II (1915(c)) covers in-home and community services only — it does not pay for residential placement in Connecticut. The program serves Adults 18-64 with ABI.
Enrollment and service authorization go through your case manager or support coordinator. They confirm eligibility, authorize the budget, and help select a provider.
Acquired Brain Injury Waivers I & II (1915(c)) does not fund residential placements. In Connecticut, residential care can be funded through Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders (CHCPE — 1915(c) + state-funded strand), DDS Comprehensive Supports Waiver and Individual & Family Support Waiver (1915(c)) — talk to your case manager or support coordinator about switching or adding a program.
