ICWP (Independent Care Waiver Program) covers in-home and community services only — it does not pay for residential placement in Georgia. The program serves adults 21-64 with severe physical disabilities or TBI.
Enrollment and service authorization go through your support coordinator. They confirm eligibility, authorize the budget, and help select a provider.
ICWP (Independent Care Waiver Program) does not fund residential placements. In Georgia, residential care can be funded through CCSP (Community Care Services Program) — Elderly & Disabled waiver, SOURCE (Service Options Using Resources in a Community Environment), COMP (Comprehensive Supports Waiver) — talk to your support coordinator about switching or adding a program.
