DDA Community Supports & Family Supports Waivers covers in-home and community services only — it does not pay for residential placement in Maryland. The program serves DD/ID.
Enrollment and service authorization go through your case manager or support coordinator. They confirm eligibility, authorize the budget, and help select a provider.
DDA Community Supports & Family Supports Waivers does not fund residential placements. In Maryland, residential care can be funded through Community Options Waiver (Home and Community-Based Options, HCBO), DDA Community Pathways Waiver, Brain Injury Waiver, and others — talk to your case manager or support coordinator about switching or adding a program.
