PASSPORT (ODA) covers in-home and community services only — it does not pay for residential placement in Ohio. The program serves 60+ elderly.
Enrollment and service authorization go through your service and support administrator (SSA), typically via your county board of developmental disabilities. They confirm eligibility, authorize the budget, and help select a provider.
PASSPORT (ODA) does not fund residential placements. In Ohio, residential care can be funded through Assisted Living Waiver (ODA), MyCare Ohio / Next Generation MyCare, DODD waivers: Individual Options (IO), Level One, SELF — talk to your service and support administrator (SSA) about switching or adding a program.
