CLASS covers in-home and community services only — it does not pay for residential placement in Texas. The program serves related conditions / physical disabilities.
Enrollment and service authorization go through your service coordinator, typically via your Local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authority (LIDDA). They confirm eligibility, authorize the budget, and help select a provider.
CLASS does not fund residential placements. In Texas, residential care can be funded through STAR+PLUS / STAR+PLUS HCBS program (1115 managed care), Home and Community-based Services (HCS), Deaf-Blind with Multiple Disabilities (DBMD) — talk to your service coordinator about switching or adding a program.
